Central Kansas Christian Academy (CKCA), a K-8 Christian school in Great Bend, Kansas, is seeking a full-time Teacher's Aide for the 2026/27 school year. This role is perfect for someone passionate about working with children and supporting a Christ-centered learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in supporting individualized
learning
- Follow school policies, including the Teacher and
Student Handbooks
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, gym, and during field trips
- Reinforce classroom rules, promote social skills, and support positive behavior
- Help organize classroom materials and display student work
- Grade homework and tests, record results, and support assessment efforts
-Type, file, and duplicate materials
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
- Attend staff meetings, devotions, and participate in school events when possible
Qualifications:
- Model a Christ-like walk with Jesus
- Have a teachable attitude and helpful spirit
- Hold at least a high school diploma; some college preferred
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Support the school's mission and policies
