Central Kansas Christian Academy, a K-8 Christian school in Great Bend, Kansas, is seeking a passionate music educator for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to teach either one or both areas—general music and band—based on your experience and interests.

Applicants must demonstrate godly character and live by strong moral principles. Preference is given to those with relevant experience. The ideal candidate will work well with children and collaborate effectively with staff. Great organizational skills and clear communication are essential.


This is a part-time position with a 10-month contract, running from August through May. The role involves planning and leading engaging music classes appropriate for various grade levels, utilizing creativity with teaching methods, resources, and aids.

This position is perfect for someone who loves working with children in a Christ-centered environment and desires to help students reach their full potential. An ideal candidate will have strong academic qualifications, experience with younger children, and a high level of integrity and character rooted in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
