Part-Time Band Teacher – 2026–2027 School Year
Central Kansas Christian Academy, a K–8 Christian school in Great Bend, Kansas, is seeking a part-time Band Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Ideally 2-3 days per week, hours are flexible.
We are looking for a passionate educator who enjoys working with students and desires to use their musical talents in a Christ-centered environment. The Band Teacher will help students develop their instrumental skills, musical knowledge, confidence, and appreciation for music while modeling a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant music, band, or instrumental teaching experience. The ideal candidate will work well with children, collaborate effectively with staff, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
The Band Teacher will be responsible for planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate band instruction and helping students grow in both individual musicianship and ensemble performance.
This position is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves music, enjoys working with children, and wants to use their talents to serve God in a ministry-focused school environment.
