CKCA Participates in Annual Power the Pantry Food Drive

Central Kansas Christian Academy (CKCA) is honored to participate in the upcoming Power the Pantry Great Bend Schools Food Drive again this year. This event, benefits the Community Food Bank of Barton County, KS, and provides an opportunity for our students, staff, and families to give during this

Students and supporters are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items during the collection period of October 27th-31st, 2025. Make sure to take a moment to ring the bell to let everyone know you have made a contribution! Please refrain from bringing water bottles and bulk items over 50 pounds, as these are not suitable for donation. Every contribution, makes a difference.

CKCA has a proud history of making a significant impact in this competition. In 2019-21, we won first place, earning a $500 cash prize. We secured second place in 2022, then again took first place in 2023 with 12.94 pounds per student and a $600 cash award. Most recently, in 2024, we finished in second place, continuing our legacy of service and community support.
