CKCA Hosts 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser on Thursday, September 21st

Central Kansas Christian Academy is excited to announce our 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament fundraiser on Thursday, September 21st which is open to the public. Team and business sponsors are being accepted for this new event, with a preferred registration deadline of September 17th.

The evening will begin with a special Family Fun Night at 5:15 p.m. with hot dogs, chips, cookies, and water for a freewill donation on the school playground. Check-in for cornhole teams will begin at 5:45 p.m. with separate brackets for youth (8th grade and below) and adults (14 years and older).

"We had such a great turnout at last year's tournament, so we are very excited to host this event again this year," said CKCA Board Member Mallory Damon. "Proceeds from the event will be used to help fund some new school safety enhancements that we have plans to build out this coming summer."

The cost to play in the cornhole tournament is $40 per team of two, and registration is requested in advance prior to September 17th, if possible. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three adult teams and gift cards will be awarded to the top two youth teams. Businesses are also invited to sponsor the event for a $150 minimum donation, which includes a team registration for those who also want to participate.
