CKCA Blesses Children Worldwide with 50 Gift-Filled Shoeboxes Through Operation Christmas Child

Central Kansas Christian Academy participated in Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child, a global project dedicated to delivering gifts and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children in need around the world. This year, students and CKCA's Parent Teacher Fellowship or PTF worked together to pack 50 shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and essentials for children ages 11 to 14, evenly split between boys and girls.

Thanks to the school’s penny war efforts during the 2024-2025 school year, the winning class raised funds specifically for this project, choosing Operation Christmas Child from three ministry options. The packing and shipping process was coordinated by former PTF President Melanie Schroeter, who worked closely with the current PTF President Tiffany Schoendaler.

It is estimated that the 50 shoeboxes packed by Central Kansas Christian Academy could lead to the salvation of approximately 13 children through the sharing of the Gospel, demonstrating how small acts of kindness can have a profound and lasting impact. Generosity and compassion can truly make a difference in the lives of children around the world.

As the shoeboxes are shipped to children in need, Central Kansas Christian Academy continues to emphasize outreach, service, and sharing hope through acts of kindness, inspiring students to live out their faith.
