Central Kansas Christian Academy, a K-8 Christian school in Great Bend, Kansas, is seeking a part-time Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (or be working towards one), and they must have godly character and live by strong moral principles. Preference is given to those with experience in the field. They must be able to work well with children, as well as the other members of our staff. Great organizational skills and thorough communication are a must. This is a part-time teaching position with a 10-month contract running August through May. This position requires approximately 10-15 hours per week, working mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the school year. This position is responsible for planning and leading physical education activities appropriate for different grade levels while using creativity with teaching methods, aids, and resources.
This position is perfect for someone who loves working with children in a Christ-centered environment, and who wants to see students achieve their full potential. An ideal candidate will have academic qualifications and experience educating younger children. A high level of integrity and character is required, with a strong commitment to relationship with Jesus Christ. This person will be highly motivated and knowledgeable in physical education.
